- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to use the Focus Area tool, which is a kind of brush that lets you paint in and paint away selections. So pretty much all we've done so far, is to go up to the select menu and choose the Focus Area command, and then let it automatically do its thing. Now notice when I move my cursor out into the larger image window, I am seeing a brush with a little plus sign in it. And that tells me that I can paint in areas of selection. So let's say I make my brush bigger by pressing the right bracket key a few times, and then I just paint away from her neck like so. Notice as soon as I release, Photoshop adds an area that's larger than my brush stroke and that's because it's trying to match the focus of the area that I brushed. That's not what I want of course. So I'll go ahead and press Control + Z or Commands + Z on the Mac to undo that change. And notice, if I press the Alt key…
