Opening a Camera Raw Smart Object

- In this movie, I'll show you how to open a Camera Raw Smart Object, which is different from applying Camera Raw as a Smart Filter in that when you double-click on the Smart Object thumbnail here inside the layers panel, you don't open it as a static pixel based image. Instead you open it inside camera raw, complete with all of its numerical settings intact. And so let me show you how that works. I'll go ahead and cancel out. And then here inside Photoshop, I'll go up to the file menu and choose browse in bridge, or you have that shortcut of Control + Alt + O here on the PC or Command + Option O on the Mac. And then I'll go ahead and navigate to my 19 Smart Objects folder, in which I have this raw DNG image that begins with the word underexposed. And as you can see by his thumbnail, it starts off in pretty dismal shape. All right, so I'm going to go ahead and double-click on it, in order to open it inside Camera Raw…
