Editing text inside a nested Smart Object

- [Instructor] All right, so as I've been saying, we have managed to apply some fairly amazing, undeniably ambitious effects to live editable text, thanks to our ability to protect that text inside not one, but two smart objects, which is why in this movie, I'll show you what it looks like to edit text buried inside of a nested smart object here inside Photoshop. So the first step is to double-click on the Smart Objects thumbnail here inside the Layers panel, and that will open the parent smart object, the one that contains the sideways text with all the filters assigned to it. Next, go ahead and double-click on its smart object thumbnail in order to open the image that contains that live type, as well as the shape layers. Now I'm not going to need the shape layer this time around. But rather than throwing it away by selecting it and pressing the Backspace key or the Delete key on the Mac, which amounts to a permanent…
