Warping images
Photoshop's warp tools are a great way to distort an image in order to composite it with another. In this document we have two layers. We have the metal on the fence and then we have a photograph of some boats. And I want to put the photograph on top of the corrugated metal. So with the metal on fence layer targeted, I'm going to select the object selection tool and then click within that corrugated metal. Then I'll choose Layer, New, and then Layer via Copy in order to copy the corrugated metal to its own layer. Later we're going to use this as the base of a clipping mask with the photograph. Now before I start transforming the photograph I'll want to convert it to a smart object so I'll choose Layer, Smart objects, convert to smart object. Then I'll choose edit and free transform. I'll transform this down a bit and reposition it. And then I want to distort it, so I'll right click or control click and choose distort.
