Straightening a crooked image
There are several ways that you can straighten an image in Photoshop. In the next few minutes, we're going to take a look at three of the most common. The first would be to select the crop tool. I'll tap the C key or we can select it from the toolbar. And then we can choose the straighten tool in the toolbar. Then we can just drag the tool over the horizon or any horizontal line, or in fact, any vertical line. And when we release the cursor, Photoshop will automatically rotate the image. Now, notice by default, the straighten tool constrains the rotation to within the image. So we don't see any transparency. Instead, it crops into the photo by default. A little tip, if you hold down the Command key or the Control key on Windows and you have the crop tool selected, you can temporarily access the straighten tool.
