Saving and opening files into Photoshop

When we're finished making our adjustments in Camera Raw, we have a number of different options to either apply those adjustments and open the document into Photoshop, or save and convert the image to another file format. Let's take a look at both of these options. If we choose to open the file in Photoshop, we'll want to set up the workflow settings. I'll click on the hyperlink at the bottom of the dialog, and that will give us all of our workflow options. Here we can choose a color space as was covered in the Digital Imaging Essentials chapter. I'm gonna leave this set to Adobe RGB, but you might want to set it to ProPhoto if you want to work in a larger color space. We can set the bit depth to either 8-bit or 16-bit. 8-bit is going to be a smaller file, but 16-bit will have more information and more headroom if we wanna continue editing our image in Photoshop.
