Drawing complex paths

All right, now it's time for us to learn to draw some more complex paths. And we're going to learn a few keyboard shortcuts as well, because we need to know how to convert a curved path to a corner point, and how to split direction lines. And I find it's much more efficient to do this using shortcuts than by constantly having to select different tools. So let's zoom into our first path. I'll use command one on Mac, control one on Windows, and then we'll scoot over. and I don't have any paths targeted in my Layers panel. So, with the Pen tool selected, I'll click on the first black square, and then I'll click again on the second black square. Now, to add a point in the center, we can simply click with the Pen tool on that gray square. Now, if I want to reposition this point, we could manually switch over to the Path Selection or the Direct Selection tool, or we can stick with the Pen tool, and then I can hold down the Command key on Mac, Control key on Windows, and click on the path…
