Using Image Size to change document dimensions
- [Instructor] Let's take a moment to find out how to calculate the correct document size needed for each type of output. For outputting images to the screen, to the printing press, and inkjet printer, and for sending to a lab. Now, in order to change the size of a document for a specific output device we're going to use the Image menu and choose Image Size. On the left-hand size we have a preview of the image at a hundred percent. We can either click and drag in order to preview a different area, or I can position my cursor over the preview area and simply click, and then we can see that area here. Then, on the right-hand side, we have a lot of information about the image. It might be easier if we can actually resize this, if you want to get a larger preview. All right, on the right we can see that the original image size is just a little bit over 30 megs. As I start making changes, there are two ways that I can do so…
