In-camera focus stacking

- As part of an update to this course, we are now roughly 10 years into the future from that last video. And here in 2025, there's an amazing new technology that makes your hair look completely gray. There's also an amazing new technology called in-camera focus stacking. So you should already be up to speed on the issue that when you're working at macro distances, depth of field is inherently very, very small. As you've seen in previous videos, we can work around that by using a special robot that takes a series of images while moving the camera forward so that we get a bunch of images that can be stacked together. Their depth of field overlaps from image to image, so when we stack them, we'll get deep depth of field. Here in 2025, we now have the option for in-camera focus stacking.
