We've all seen ads for things we don't want before. Maybe it's for a children's toy or an unpronounceable medicine or something that's perfect for someone you know, but that someone is definitely not you. That's why it's important, as both an ads manager and a creator, to know your audience and the planning stages of your video ad campaign. You'll want to figure out who your audience is and what you want them to do. One way to start is with the funnel approach. Imagine your marketing pipeline as a sales funnel. At the top, it's wide open, capturing a broad audience who may show passive interest in you. If anything, you're building awareness at the top of the funnel. As the funnel narrows, the audience gets smaller but hopefully more engaged and with a higher propensity to convert. Here's the key.
