Take notes while networking

Take notes while networking
- Take notes, write on business cards, or connect on social media right then and there. The best trick I've learned is to take a person's business card and write notes on it so that you can remember certain details about that person when you go back to the office the next day. In the world of social media and LinkedIn, sometimes people show up at events without any business cards. If that's the case, you won't have the luxury of having a business card to write on, though some people I know still prefer to write things down, and they'll simply use a small journal and a pen to write names and scribble notes when they make a connection.
