Respond to a meeting invitation
- [Trainer] Charles has sent me two different meeting invitations. This invitation is for an HR IT meeting, and this is for IT support of employee onboarding. I could RSVP to this right here. I can click the RSVP button, my calendar opens, I can take a look and see that there's nothing else around this. And my choices really are three. I can say yes, maybe, or no. I would say maybe if I didn't have something on my calendar or somebody else had just asked me. I was walking down the hall and somebody asked me, "Hey, are you available the morning of the 28th?" And I've already said yes. It's not in my calendar yet, so Charles wouldn't have a way to know. And I would say no if I'm simply not going to come. But if you're going to say anything other than yes, you should supply some text, a reason, so that Charles doesn't have to be a mind reader. I am going to say yes, however. Before I do that, I want to take you to the calendar and show you what's going on in the calendar on the 28th. So…
