Add security with password protection in OneNote
- [Instructor] When you move a notebook to the cloud and share it with others, you're sharing the entire notebook. It's all or none with OneNote. But there are some options to prevent others from accessing sections of your notebook. And that's what we're going to do in this movie, we're going to use password protection to protect sections, making it impossible for people to view those sections, get access to them, without knowing the password. For example, here we are in our Red30Tech notebook, and the financial section is maybe something that people shouldn't be seeing, even though we've given a couple of people access to our notebook. So if we go to Financials, and click the Password button under the Review tab here on the ribbon, we can then assign a password to this section that we will need to get into the section, but anyone we've shared with will also need to know that password. Yeah, we can give it out to certain people or just keep it to ourselves, knowing nobody else will…
