- Tara Reed is an entrepreneur who previously worked at Foursquare, Microsoft and Google. She now runs Apps Without Code, a training company that teaches entrepreneurs to develop their app ideas in a no-code environment. Recently, I attended a talk of hers at a conference and she had a great formula for coming up with a value proposition for your business. A value proposition also goes by the name elevator pitch. It's the little speech that you give when someone asks you, what do you do for work? And you have a very short time to describe it. Her formula is this, company name makes it easy for target customer to think that the product does so that benefit of the product. Value propositions are useful for getting clarity about what your business is and how it will work.
