A hook is some compelling nugget of content that draws a reader more deeply into what you're saying. Hooks generally feature some type of connection with a reader. In my example I made a connection with you by asking have you ever done this? Memes and cartoons are one big hook. You want to read to the end because you know that there's something funny that's coming. How should you think about hooking your readers?
