They want the model to make accurate predictions. That is what we hear about gen AI models all the time. There is this new model and it has a better performance than this other model. What do you focus on? The customer. You want to delight your customer. You want to save them money and grow your business. With that in mind, let's look at how to choose gen AI models. Should there be an open source model or a proprietary model from a large company? Here are the business considerations. The number one consideration is cost. We learned that token cost is for training and running inference, your model in production.
