Alright, let's talk about HTTPS. So first things first, why is HTTPS important? If you ever notice the little padlock symbol on your browser, some browsers might have this. It might not be green like this. But anyway, if you've ever seen this, you've encountered HTTPS. Now HTTPS that we talked about, it's a secure version of HTTP, meaning all communication between your browser and the website are encrypted. But why should you care? Well, the first reason is obviously security, right? Imagine you're at a coffee shop using a public Wi-Fi to log on to your online banking account or whatever. Now, without HTTPS, someone else obviously connects to that same network and they could intercept your password or sensitive financial information. Now, this is without HTTPS. Let's assume that the bank does not have HTTPS and it's using HTTP. someone could intercept and read your username and password.
