- When people think of job searching, their first thought usually goes to the traditional job hunting process, finding job openings and submitting applications. While that should certainly be a part of the job hunt strategy, there's another valuable technique that's extremely underutilized, working with headhunters. If you're not familiar, a headhunter is essentially an independent recruiter. They work for headhunting firms, or more commonly known as recruiting agencies that are contracted by companies to fill certain roles.
