CIDI prompt in practice 1: Social media copywriting - ChatGPT Tutorial

- Let's write together a prompt to create social media posts using ChatGPT. For this example, I will use the CD framework and I will apply it to a case of my own company, AI Academy. We're going to start with context. "Act as a social media copywriter. "You work for AI Academy, "a company specialized in helping people understand "how to use AI in their professional life "and in delivering custom AI "upscaling programs for companies." This sets the scene for AI and gives the context of the company it has to work for. Now, let's go to the instruction part of the prompt. "I will give you a message "that AI Academy wants to communicate "and a social media platform to share this message. "You will craft a post to communicate the message "that is optimized for that platform." Notice how I've been very assertive so that AI can better understand what I need. But I've also decided to pick two different variables. One is the topic that I want to cover in my post, and the other one is the social media platform. This allows me to reuse this prompt multiple times for different platforms. Not as much of the details part of the prompt. "Use a tone of voice that is practical and not fancy." This is how my company wants to speak, and I specified it in this section. Last, input. "Message: Next week there's a webinar "on how to find AI opportunities in your company." And "Platform: LinkedIn." Notice how if I wanted to also create an Instagram post, all I have to do is change the platform at the end. This is the magic of the CD framework, you have a clear structure that you can modify to reuse your prompt infinite times.
