- If you take a look at the descriptions for jobs that follow a DevOps methodology, you may be surprised to find that there are a lot of different titles, such as DevOps, engineer, site reliability engineer, automation engineer, platform engineer, build engineer, QA engineer, and many others. There are also some proponents of DevOps that say DevOps is a culture and not a job and it shouldn't be part of a title. And others say using DevOps in a title empowers a person to implement change where needed. If you can, I want you to look past the title and focus on the requirements of the job that you're interviewing for. If the requirements call for a DevOps mindset, then you're headed in the right direction. Right now it doesn't matter what the job title is. I want you to focus on your preparation and I'm confident that this course will be useful for you in your interview.
