Why learn SQL
- [Narrator] So why should you invest your time learning SQL? I promise once you do, you'll never regret it. It has a ton of value and here's why. First, it's the standard language for relational database management. Anywhere that companies are storing large amounts of data, SQL's involved. With modern day servers, SQL lets you access massive amounts of data and process it in a very short amount of time. Learning SQL is fun, intuitive, and it's surprisingly easy. I myself am not a technical guy. I don't have a computer science background, and I was able to learn this, and you can too. Companies always need employees who are competent with SQL. They're storing more and more data all the time. And if you're the person who can access that, it really opens a lot of doors. Once you become a SQL and a database expert, you'll be shocked at how many real life practical benefits it has.
