- [Instructor] When designing titles for social media, or any motion graphics project, for that matter, typography is an important consideration, and when used well, can make animations and thumbnails more eye catching. It can be easy to fall into a trap of making something look brilliant in one aspect ratio, only to find out it doesn't work when the content needs to be output at a different frame size. Common frame aspect ratios include 16 by nine, or landscape, one by one, or square, and nine by 16, or portrait. There are others, but we'll not go down that path just yet. Coming back to our 16 by nine composition, let's look at some of the tools that After Effects offers to help design our titles. So, apart from the Character and Paragraph tools, in terms of actually lining things up in the composition, if I press Command + R, I can bring up the composition rulers, and it's Control + R on a PC, and what this allows us to do…
