Animating layers in Premiere Pro
- [Instructor] Once you've got your footage in the timeline in Premiere Pro, you can start to add the basic animation in here. It's really good to do this Premiere Pro, because you can see things update in real time without having to wait for them to render. But you're fairly limited to what you can do with PNGs. If I want to animate this, I can open the Effect Controls here. And I can do things like move that whole image around, which is nice. I can scale it in and out. So if I wanted to start with a close-up of the cliffs and then pan out, I can do things like that. But other than that, I'm fairly limited to what I can do in here. So what I want to do is bring in a Photoshop file, which has all the layers intact. So I'm going to go down here. Now, if you want to follow along, I'm in 04_04_Animating_Project and that's in the 04_Animatics folder.
