Manage Planner project tasks with Schedule and Chart views
The default view that you work with when you start working with Planner is what's known as the board view. And that is the plan view that you're looking at here. Notice at the top of this plan that board is what is currently selected. There are all sorts of other views that can be really valuable, especially if you're the project manager. Notice that we have grid. So if you prefer to look at things in more of a list or a table type of a style, this might be one that you really like. We have the bucket name and then the tasks below, the next bucket name and the tasks, and it goes on and on. And you can still manage this easily as far as marking things as complete, and then seeing other information in these columns over to the right, as well as quickly filling out those fields if needed. Now, if we move on over here to the timeline view, the timeline view may look familiar to you if you have worked with Microsoft Project or Microsoft Project Online in the past.
