Inserting a Loop component in an email for collaboration
Loop components are portable pieces of content such as an agenda, a task list, or a voting table that can be created and shared in many Microsoft 365 places, like an Outlook message, a Word document, a Teams chat, a Teams channel post, a Microsoft whiteboard, and even within the new loop app itself. Loop components can be created in Outlook for the web, Outlook for Microsoft 365, and the new Outlook app as you see that I'm working with here. So if you're working with any of the other Outlook apps that I mentioned, you'll find loop components on the message ribbon or the insert ribbon while you're composing a new email message. I already have an email that I've started composing. You can see that I have a subject for it, as well as some of the message body that I've already filled in. So to insert a new loop component, we're going to go to the insert ribbon here at the top. And then on over here, we'll select loop components.
