Find project content with Search Folders
Searching for project-related emails can be time-consuming and oftentimes requires more than one search to refine the scope and get the results you're looking for. I'm going to show you how you can set up a search folder that will always be up to date with the latest matching content. You'll need to be working in a desktop Outlook app, such as Outlook for Microsoft 365 that you see here, or Outlook 2021. Now, I'm working in the classic Outlook app in order to be able to show you how to create custom search folders. In the upper right corner, you'll notice that it says try the new Outlook and it's set to off. That's an indicator for you if you're working in the new or the classic if you're working with the Microsoft 365 app that's installed. Okay. So search folders is going to be over here in the navigation pane. So if you look in your mailbox, what we're looking for is search folders right here.
