- [Instructor] A hybrid cloud environment is an IT infrastructure that mixes on-premise and cloud services. The hybrid cloud model allows you to deploy workloads into your on-premise environment or the public cloud depending on the demand on resources, a new project, or to reduce costs. It provides great flexibility by allowing more deployment options. The hybrid model has four broad use cases. Cloud bursting is an application deployment model where an application running primarily on-premise, but when the demand increases, AWS resources can be deployed to meet that demand. A hybrid model can include a backup and disaster scenario in which AWS stores critical data normally kept on-premise for emergency recovery. Distributing your IT infrastructure across the cloud and on-premise provides you really the best of both worlds. For example, by allowing you to keep low latency or sensitive data on-premise, then your company could migrate maybe business analytics with machine learning to the…
