- [Instructor] There are a number of reasons you might wish to record your meetings in Teams. You can view the meeting later, you can download and share a meeting recording. Recording provides a reviewable record for use both by the people who participated in the meeting and people who were absent. You can also use meeting recordings to evaluate your meeting processes to determine if you're running your meetings in a way that's efficient, fair, and useful for your organization. When you record a meeting, you are capturing audio, video, and screen sharing for that meeting. And when you view the meeting recording, you may see a selection of participant videos but not all of the videos, that's normal. Recordings do not include whiteboards, annotations, shared notes or videos or animations that are embedded in PowerPoint live presentations.
