Set up channel moderation
- [Narrator] By default, any member of a team can post messages in a team channel. But if you are a team owner, you can set up restrictions on channels so normal members cannot post messages or replies. We'll use a feature called Channel Moderation. So first, all messages in a team are posted in a channel. And remember, every team has at least one channel which is called the general channel. And I want to start here, when you point out a channel, you'll see this button with three little dots will appear to the right of it, you can click that to open up this menu where you get options specifically for this channel. So I'm going to choose manage channel here on the general channel, and we can see moderation preferences. Now by default, anybody can post a message, but as the team owner I could change this so only owners can post messages.
