Using plugins in Microsoft Security Copilot
- [Instructor] What role do plugins play in Microsoft Security Copilot? To extend the capabilities of Security Copilot, it needs to integrate with various services and data. Plugins offer a convenient and consistent way to do so. There are different types of plugins in Security Copilot. You can use many pre-installed plugins or create your custom plugins. The pre-installed plugins include Microsoft Plugins to integrate with Microsoft products like Microsoft Defender XDR, Entra, and Sentinel, and the non-Microsoft plugins, to third-party services like ServiceNow, Splunk and Shodan. You can also create your custom plugins to access API services, like VirusTotal and AbuseIPDB. And to look up data in Microsoft Services like Defender and Sentinel.
