- [Instructor] In this sub lesson, we are going to configure export settings. So in the Power BI Desktop, or the Power BI service, you can export reports to a PDF file, and thereby easily share or print reports from that PDF. If you'd like to see the data that Power BI uses to create a visualization, you can display that data in Power BI as well. You can export to Excel as an .xlsx or a .csv file. Exporting the data requires a Pro or Premium license, as well as edit permissions to the dataset and report. If you have access to the dashboard or report but the dataset is classified as highly confidential, Power BI will not allow you to export the data. So let's go to the Power BI Desktop and take a look. All right, so I am on the Power BI Desktop and what I would like to do is export this report.
