- [Instructor] Using text boxes in your document make critical texts stand out. In this video, I'll show you how to insert a text box and apply formatting so you can change the color, the shape, add special effects and some style to your text box. Let's go ahead and get started. We're working in the 06_05 Text_Boxes document, and we see that we have a heading called testimonials. Well, that really doesn't stand out at all. Let's put testimonials into a text box. We'll go to insert. On the far right hand side, I'll select text box. And these are the different styles we have. Simple Text Box, Austin Quote, Austin Sidebar, Facet, Banded. Do these look familiar to you? Well, they should, because these are the same names as the headers and the footers that we were using in earlier videos.
