- (Lecturer) Content in a presentation can be linked to another place in a presentation. It can be linked to a webpage, a separate existing file, a new file or an email address. We'll start the process by selecting the text picture or object that we want to create a hyperlink for. It happens to be here on slide three. And it's this bullet text here that says small business testimonial. So let's go ahead and select that. Now if the mini toolbar pops up you'll notice right here that this can start the process for inserting a link, a hyperlink. We're going to go to the insert ribbon though and located on the ribbon, which is over here in this links group, we'll select the downward facing arrow and we need to locate link here. Now, if you click the downward facing arrow here it's going to show you recent files that you've been working with. And if that happens to be what you want to link to you can select it.
