- [Narrator] Box and whisker and funnel charts are two new chart types that you may see on the exam. A box and whisker chart shows a distribution of data in quartiles and it highlights the mean and any outliers. And the outliers are displayed in a line that either adjusts up or down and you'll be able to see both the whiskers and the mean for each of our data sets. Now these box and whisker charts are commonly used in statistical analysis. It's important that you know and understand what each of these chart types will do because on the exam they won't say create a box and whisker chart from the data below, they will ask you to create, for instance, a statistical chart that shows the upper and lower quartiles of the data. So work with these and become familiar with what each of these charts will do. We're also going to take a look at a funnel chart and this lets you show values across multiple stages.
