Manage roles and permissions for DSPM for AI
As with all modules in Purview, as no doubt you have learned by now, there are some specific roles and permissions that are associated with the data security posture management for AI. And you need to configure these depending on who needs access to it and what they need to do when they are in that particular module. So let's have a look at what we have. Of course, it's governed by Purview roles, and so you need to have the appropriate admin role to manage or even view these reports. So to view, create, and edit, or essentially full access, we have Purview Compliance Administrator, we have Global Administrator, and in Entra, it's Compliance Administrator. So again, just like the rest of Purview, the roles for this module straddle between Entra and the inbuilt roles in Purview itself. Some of the view-only roles, if you just need someone to be able to read it, is the Purview security reader role group, the Purview data security for AI viewer role, and the AI administrator role.
