- [Instructor] When you create a quiz, the best case scenario is that student answers are either right or wrong, and that you can assign points as needed. However, there might be times when you want to give partial credit for an answer that is close to being right. You can also offer partial credit if there was something confusing, either from the instructor, or from a teaching assistant, or in the instructions. It's a way of leveling the playing field in case the instructor feels that students didn't have a fair chance at answering a question correctly. If you do want to give partial credit on a per-student basis, you can do that by going to the responses tab, and then clicking review answers. And from here, you can select the students to whom you want to give partial credit. So let's say that I happen to know that instructor nine two gave a wrong answer with customer ID number, but that customer ID number's very close…
