- [Instructor] Sometimes it makes sense before that message is delivered. and the approver is called the moderator. you can use one of two approaches. or require approval for messages With a moderated distribution group, this is much more common than the requesting approval option With requiring approval for messages that match specific criteria, we have to create a transport rule to make that happen, that needs to be the moderator. So why do we need to do this? Well, I've got several examples. One would be to avoid mail storms And this can happen when one or more people choose to include many people in back and forth emails. And it can be annoying and it can use up a lot of the Exchange resources.
