- [Instructor] When you sign up for a new Azure subscription, there is a specific order in which Microsoft provisions your account. Despite what you may think, your subscription is not the first thing that comes into existence. Instead, an Entra tenant is created at first, also known as the default directory because it's automatically created during the signup process. This tenant serves as the universal set for all your cloud assets. Then within this tenant, a route management group is created, and the subscription you sign up for is placed under this route management group. This hierarchy that you see is already in place the first time you log into the Azure portal. We then create resource groups under the subscription to hold our cloud resources. It is very important for Azure administrators to remember this order. Just in case you are new to Azure, you may use my trick to remember it. Take the initial letters and make a sentence. I prefer the phrase, "MeGa Shopping RaGe Returns"…
