Create spreadsheets in Excel
- [Instructor] Now, I'd be a little surprised if you aren't somewhat familiar with Excel already. It's without a doubt the most widely used spreadsheet program in the world. At its heart, Excel is very straightforward. It organizes data in a table format, using a grid of cells. Cells are arranged in columns and rows. Columns are identified alphabetically and rows by number. For instance, here's an example which I've created that shows orders from different customers. Now, each row is a separate order and I've used the columns to capture information about the customers, the amount, the salesmen, and so on. You can change the size of the rows and you can change the size of the columns. Here we can make that one bigger if we want. We can make the columns bigger if we want, like that.
