Basic features of Copilot
- [Instructor] I've touched on these a bit already, but I want to take some time to introduce Copilot's basic features in Excel. Now, when Copilot for Excel first launched, you were greeted with these four options in the Copilot pane. And I still like to use them because they are, for me, the best representation of Copilot's core Excel features. The first, and to me the most useful, helps you get formula column suggestions based on the data in the table that you have selected, or it helps you create new formula columns from scratch based on specific instructions or requirements that you provide. So in a nutshell, you can write what you want the formula to do in plain English, and Copilot will translate that to Excel's formula language and create those for you. With the next feature, Copilot helps you edit the document by highlighting key data points and leveraging conditional formatting rules.
