- [Instructor] In this demo, we are going to create a dedicated SQL pool. This is going to serve as our data warehouse in the cloud. We are going to add our dedicated SQL pool in our workspace that we created earlier. We named it mylearningworkspace. Let's go ahead and open it. And we need to navigate to SQL pools. Right now, we only have the built-in serverless SQL pool. Let's go ahead and create a new one using the New button. First, we need to give it a name. Let's go ahead and name it sales data warehouse since we are going to add sales data here. Next, we need to choose the performance level. Here, we have a slider that we can move to the left or to the right. The performance level is measured in data warehouse units or DWUs. In this case, as elected DW100, which will give us one compute node. To view all available options, click on the information icon, on Performance Level, and open the Learn More link. Here…
