- [Brett] Hello and welcome to this course on AZ-305, designing Microsoft Azure Instruct Solutions. My name is Brett Hargreaves and this is lesson one, Logging and Monitoring. In this lesson, we'll learn why we need logging and monitoring in Azure and the different types of logs we can capture. First, we'll have a look at the types of log routing options that we can implement. Then we'll move on to look at the different types of login we can use for virtual machines. Next, we'll investigate using event alerts, before delving into how we can query logs with log analytics and the Azure Resource Graph. Finally, we'll finish off by looking at an example scenario, an associated architecture.
