GitHub Codespaces is a really amazing tool that allows you to create and customize a development environment that is hosted in the cloud. It is a great way to onboard new developers as you will have a repeatable configuration for all the users in your project. Codespaces run on virtual machines that boot up in seconds, which you can configure from two cores up to 32 cores and can be accessed from several types of devices through the browser. It is built on a pay-as-you-go basis depending on the course and hours, and requires a GitHub Teams or enterprise license.
