Troubleshoot a migration
- Welcome back. This is lesson 3.6, troubleshoot a migration. All right, so you've run into some issues or things didn't go as planned during the migration, where do you look and what do you do? The best place to look at any time is the logs. The first place to look at is the logs, and you can start with the Database Migration Assistant logs and the activity logs. Each migration will provide a status and any errors will be indicated with information. You can look at migration details and status for each migration in the Azure portal and this also provides a lot of information as to what happened and why. This information is also helpful because it helps determine the exact error and if any action is needed. Also for offline migrations, the integration runtime also has logs, which can be viewed to help troubleshoot issues and errors. So if you're doing an offline migration, go there.
