- [Instructor] Well, here we are, finally. When you sit down to study AI102, nowadays, you're probably immediately thinking of GPT, and here it is at the end of the course, if you've been following it sequentially. Believe me, this is a worthwhile capstone. Before though, before we get into the high weeds, let's make sure we understand the lay of the proverbial land. First OpenAI is the AI research lab who created the generative pre-trained transformer, or GPT, large language model, LLM, that we're working with now. There are several variants of GPT, DALL.E for image generation, although that's been supplanted by GPT-4 image creation. We still have the issue of shifting names and APIs. In fact, software development has never, ever moved faster than it is now. Whisper is audio, Sora is video, and Operator is agentic AI, which we'll talk a little bit more about in a moment.
