In this lecture, we'll have a brief overview of how they work in Azure. So here, virtual machines are built on top of Azure Virtual Networks, and this facilitates easier integration into existing IT environment, particularly in hybrid setups that combine on-premise and cloud resources. This integration allows businesses to extend their network seamlessly at maintaining consistent management and security policies across environments. Azure VM support multiple operating systems and versions including various distributions of Linux and all supporter versions of Windows.
