Logging in Azure

- [Instructor] Hi, in this lecture we're going to look at the different types of logging that we can view in Azure. The first way we can look at logging is through something called Azure Monitor. To get to Azure Monitor, if we go to the burger menu in the portal and go down to Monitor, we'd have down the left-hand side two main different types of way we can see monitoring. First of activity logs and metrics. We'll look at activity log first. So the activity log shows us everything that's been happening within our Azure environment. When we access this through the monitor activity log, we get to see all events that have happened across our subscriptions. So in this example, we can see, I've been looking at storage counts, I've been starting a web app, I've started a virtual machine, and so on. Note that it's against the Azure subscription and we get to see this time span, which is the past six hours. We can of course, change this, so we can go up to Custom time periods or as granular…
