Introduction to the Azure portal

- [Instructor] Hello there. Whenever we want to do anything in Azure, create resource or I manage them, we're going to need to use the Azure portal. Therefore, in this lecture, we're going to look at a brief overview of the Azure portal, and we're also going to set a power first subscription. To get to the Azure portal in a browser, simply go to portal.azure.com. You will be prompted to sign in. You can sign in using any account, but it does need to be a Microsoft account. This being a Microsoft product, that kind of makes sense. Anyway, once we're signed in, we'll be presented with the following screen. On this screen, we'll see a list of popular Azure services and we'll also see a list of recent services that we've used. As this is the first time I've used this particular tenant, it's all blank. We can also go to this burger menu here, and in here we'll see a list of favorite services. So these by default are the common services that you'll often use within Azure. If there's a…
