- [Instructor] Hi there. So in this lecture we're going to look at something called Self-Service Password Reset. Now quite often what happens when you have big IT systems, you'll often have a help desk to help users when they're having problems. But quite often one of the most common problems users have is that they've either forgotten the password or they've got locked out. Therefore, to help with this problem, Microsoft includes a facility called the Self Password Reset. And this enables users to be able to go and reset their own password. However, we need to make sure that when they do that, that they have to fill in certain information in order to make sure they are the user that they're saying they are. Because of this, the service is switched off by default and we need to go in and configure it to determine and set it how we feel it should secure users. Within the Azure portal, go to Microsoft Entra ID, and on the left-hand side scroll down until we find this Password reset. As…
