- [Instructor] There are many different options for backing up services in Azure. If we want to back up virtual machines, for example, we would use backup and recovery vaults. However, a lot of services in Azure that are classed as native such as web apps and storage accounts have backup built into them. However, they are still configurable. And in this lecture we'll look at two of the more popular ones, which are web apps and storage accounts. So first we'll look at web apps. When we build web apps, we don't have to define anything around backups, however they are configured by default. And when we've got a deployed web app, on the left-hand side, if we look at the menu, we can scroll down to Settings and we have this Backup section here. And we can see here that by default our web apps are configured to back up every hour. And for most people this will be absolutely fine.
